Pre -> Departure

My flight was scheduled to depart on August 21, 2024, and I arrived in Korea on August 22, 2024, around 7 PM KST. Our flight was delayed on the day of departure, so make sure to set up notifications from the airline. Don’t forget to pack everything you need! I forgot my retainers and didn’t realize it until we had already left for the airport, so we had to go back. Luckily, the check-in line wasn’t long, and airport security went by quickly. While my friends and I were going through security, I had to be patted down because of the metal buttons on my pants 😔.

The flight was about 9 hours long, so it was great to have my friends with me. We flew with Korean Air, and they provided us with two meals and a snack. For my first meal, I chose bibimbap. The snack was a hot pocket and some juice, and for the second meal, I opted for beef goulash with rice. The second meal wasn’t really to my liking, but I enjoyed the others very much.

When we landed, it took almost an hour to get out because we had to locate where to pick up our SIM cards and find the taxi driver. Overall, the departure and arrival were an adventure in themselves.
